Hi, I’m Casey.
I’m an animal science graduate, former Michigan park ranger, former dairy farmer, lifelong observer of animals and ecosystems, and the person behind Crop Circuit.
Crop Circuit grew from a lifelong obsession with behavior, feedback loops, animals, ecology, and the question of how technology can make us more attentive to living things rather than less.
What We Do
We document the process of building a resilient small-farm operation: soil systems, livestock care, field planning, and small-farm economics. Wins and failures are both published so readers can make better decisions faster.
We also turn that experience into reusable formats: the Small Farm Systems Audit, practical calculators, and protocols other farmers can adapt to their own land.
