Status: Operational draft for the Small Farm Systems Audit pilot. These terms are intended to be clear and fair; have a qualified professional review them before scaling beyond the pilot.


1. What the Small Farm Systems Audit Is

The Small Farm Systems Audit is a written planning service. You submit information about your property, animals or crops, facilities, workflow, budget, and constraints. CropCircuit reviews one property and one primary workflow goal, then sends back a concise written report with practical recommendations.


2. What It Is Not

The audit is planning support only. It is not engineering, veterinary, medical, legal, tax, accounting, permit, or individualized financial advice. If your situation requires a licensed professional, the audit may identify the need but will not provide the professional service.


3. Delivery Timeline

The audit is delivered by email within 3 business days after both payment is confirmed and we confirm your intake is complete. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding observed holidays. Delivery starts only when both conditions are met; an incomplete intake does not begin the delivery clock.


4. Incomplete Intake

If your intake is missing required information or the materials are unusable, we will contact you once to request what is needed. If the intake remains incomplete for 14 days, we may cancel the order and issue a refund at our discretion.


5. Pilot Capacity

Sales pause while five paid audits are in progress. Checkout should be unavailable while capacity is full. If an excess payment is accepted accidentally, we will promptly refund it unless you explicitly agree in writing to wait for a later opening.


6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Before work begins: If you cancel before we have started reviewing your intake, you may request a full refund.
  • After work begins: Once we have started preparing your audit, refunds are at our discretion based on how much work has been completed.
  • Delivery issues: If we miss the stated delivery window through our own fault, contact us and we will make it right, including a refund if appropriate.

7. Customer-Submitted Materials

You retain ownership of any maps, photos, descriptions, or other materials you submit. You grant CropCircuit permission to use those materials solely to prepare your audit. We will not reuse, publish, or share your materials without your explicit written permission.


8. Accuracy and Limits

Recommendations depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. Conditions on the ground can change, and local regulations vary. Use the audit as a planning input, not a substitute for site-specific professional advice.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may change as the pilot teaches us what works. The version in effect when you purchase applies to your order.
